Why I built this.

SiteVett started inside a web agency. The QA team were checking every site by hand before shipping to customers -- clicking links, squinting at mobile layouts, working through the same checklist on every build. It didn't scale. The more sites they shipped, the more time QA consumed.

I built an internal tool to automate the process. It took the team's rulebook -- the exact checks they were doing manually -- and ran them across every page, every time. It worked. What used to take hours took minutes.

SiteVett is the public version of that tool, rebuilt from scratch and open to everyone. 60+ automated checks across 10 categories, AI visual analysis, and a scored report with fix advice for every issue found.

One URL in, one scored report out.

Every issue includes the page, what failed, why it matters, and how to fix it. See a sample report to judge for yourself.

How it works.

Enter a URL. SiteVett crawls every page (respecting robots.txt), runs automated checks including AI visual analysis, and generates a scored report. The report shows what failed, what needs a second look, and what passed -- with screenshots and fix suggestions.

How we handle your data.

Scan results are private to your account. Screenshots are stored securely and only accessible through your report link. Form submission testing is opt-in, uses clearly labelled test data, and skips login, checkout, and newsletter forms automatically.

Free-tier reports expire after 7 days. Paid plans get permanent reports. You can delete any scan from your history at any time. Full details in our privacy policy.
