What this is

SiteVett is a website QA scanner. You provide a URL, we crawl the publicly accessible pages, check for common issues, and produce a scored report.

When scanning a website, SiteVett collects page HTML, takes screenshots, and sends page text and images to third-party AI and analysis services (Google Gemini, LanguageTool, Google PageSpeed Insights) to generate your report. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Acceptable use

• Only scan websites you own or have permission to scan
• Don't use the service to attack or probe sites you don't own
• Don't circumvent scan limits or rate limits
• Don't automate account creation beyond the provided API
• Don't scan websites hosting illegal content

We can block specific domains at the request of site owners. Contact abuse@sitevett.com to request a block.

Form testing

When enabled, SiteVett fills and submits contact forms with test data (e.g., "QA Test" as name, a @sitevett.com email). The site owner may receive a test email. By enabling form testing, you confirm you have permission to submit test data on the target site.

Scan limits

• Free: 3 scans/month. Reports expire after 7 days.
• Starter ($9/mo): 10 scans/month
• Pro ($19/mo): 40 scans/month
• Agency ($39/mo): 100 scans/month

Counts reset on the 1st of each calendar month.

Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime from your dashboard — takes effect at end of current billing period. No partial-month refunds.

Report sharing

Each report gets a unique URL. Reports are unlisted — not indexed, but anyone with the link can view them. Keep URLs private if the content is sensitive.

Accuracy

Results are automated and informational. May contain false positives or miss issues. A passing score doesn't guarantee a site is defect-free. Human review recommended for critical assessments.

Liability

SiteVett is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for damages arising from use, including inaccurate results, form submissions triggered by scans, or downtime.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SiteVett against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, including scanning websites you do not own or do not have authorisation to scan.

Termination

SiteVett may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.

Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use SiteVett.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

Intellectual property

SiteVett retains all rights to the software and service. You retain ownership of data you provide. Scan reports are licensed to you for your use.
